Making Time for Marketing (Producer Voices)

One of the most common comments we get in our marketing trainings is something along the lines of, "I would do more marketing if I just had the time." Marketing can be hard to prioritize among the long list of other things that need to be completed on the farm, but it is essential in successfully selling your product- particularly if you are a direct-to-consumer business.

In this episode of Producer Voices, we talk with Lesley Dennis of Solway Farms in Eastview, Kentucky. Lesley takes us through her weekly marketing schedule, how she makes her marketing work with her work and life schedule, and different marketing channels she uses to sell her fresh produce.
