Ever seen a color on a website or photo and wanted to match it for a font color or something else? Trying to match a color from one flyer to another? Consider using a web-browser plugin to identify a particular color.
Most of those pickers are going to identify the color by a specific number with a # sign. This is called a Hex Code. Think of a Hex Code like a barcode for a specific color. Other programs may use a different system like Red Blue Green (RBG) or Cyan Magenta Yellow Black (CMYK). While a professional would point out how these systems have some differences, for simple design you just need a way to decode the colors and translate between systems.
