Cut Flower Train the Trainer County Agent Workshop

The Kentucky Cut Flower Extension Team is leading train-the-trainer workshops for county extension agents across the state. As cut flower production in Kentucky is increasing in popularity, many county agents are seeking assistance in programming for their clientele. These workshops will provide agents with information related to cut flower production and marketing, and will give agents the tools needed to work with cut flower growers of all sizes (hobbyist to commercial) in their county. Agents will leave with educational materials to successfully provide their own cut flower-related courses in their counties, as well as participate in hands-on activities. The hands-on activities include soil blocking with a variety of tray types and the construction of your own drip irrigation model (to use with clientele).
