Extension Associate - Marketing & Small Farm Economics; MarketReady
Savannah is an Agricultural Extension Associate in the University of Kentucky's Department of Agricultural Economics. She works with the MarketReady Producer Training Program and the UK Center for Crop Diversification. She has been with the Department since July 2020.

Savannah is a University of Kentucky graduate with a M.S. and B.S. in Agricultural Economics and a minor in Sustainable Agriculture. She has spent the last 8 years working with local food production systems. She specializes in specialty crop marketing and small farm economics. Savannah works with farmers on marketing strategies, exploring and establishing new markets, and diversifying their operations. She works with a variety of specialty crop growers, from vegetables to cut flowers, in varying levels of market-readiness. Savannah also develops and leads train-the-trainer programming for technical assistance providers in Kentucky and across the Southeast region.
