The Kentucky Center for Ag & Rural Development is hosting a value-added producer workshop, "Making More from Your Farm: Growth Strategies for Value-Added Producers," in Barren County on February 3rd. The Center for Crop Diversification will be attending the workshop to table with educational resources!

Join the Kentucky Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (KCARD) on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, for a one-day workshop designed to help producers grow and strengthen their value-added farm enterprises. Hosted at the Kentucky State University Cooperative Extension Office in Barren County, this workshop will equip attendees with practical tools and expert guidance to expand their business opportunities.

Participants will learn about:

  • Business planning and enterprise development
  • Marketing strategies to reach and retain customers
  • Financial tools and budgeting for value-added ventures
  • Funding programs and grant opportunities
  • Afternoon speed networking with technical assistance providers

Doors open at 8:30 AM, and the workshop will conclude by 4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided, and registration is required. Located in Central Standard Time.
