We have two available paid positions for a Center for Crop Diversification Summer Fellowship. These positions both blend research and extension and provide an opportunity for the fellow to work alongside cooperative Extension professionals and gain experience relevant to the work of the CCD as well to the fellow's professional interest. While previous fellows have been AgEconomics, Horticuture, and Sustainable Agriculture students, this opportunity is open to any University of Kentucky undergraduate student

Both fellowships will require approximately 20 hours per week starting 5/15/2025 through 8/15/2025.

Marketing Fellow will:

  • Assist in Developing Marketing Education
  • Visit Farms & Markets

Economics & Pricing Fellow will:

  • Collect & Analyze Prices
  • Conduct Local Food Research

Both Fellows will:

  • Support Social Media Development
  • Have Public Speaking Opportunities
  • Pursue additional professional development

Note for AgEconomics majors, there is potential for AEC 399 class credit with this fellowship. Please apply below. We will fill positions on a rolling deadline so please apply ASAP.
