We have a paid undergraduate position for a Center for Crop Diversification Summer Fellowship. This position blends research and extension and provides an opportunity for the fellow to work alongside cooperative Extension professionals and gain experience relevant to the work of the CCD as well to the fellow's professional interest. While previous fellows have been AgEconomics, Horticuture, Marketing, and Sustainable Agriculture students, this opportunity is open to any University of Kentucky undergraduate student.
The paid fellowship will 20 hours per week starting 5/15/2025 through 8/15/2025. NOTE: There is a requirement for 1-2 hours of in-person data collection every Saturday or Sunday.
Marketing Fellow will:
- Collect & Analyze Prices
- Conduct Local Food Research
- Assist in Developing Marketing Education
- Visit Farms & Markets
- Support Social Media Development
- Have Public Speaking Opportunities
- Pursue additional professional development
